I’ve had the privilege of working in some form of a managerial role for the past 19+ years, in production management, logistics, sales, marketing, and business development. My real world experience has afforded me the opportunities to work closely with some of the biggest companies in the world including; Dow Chemical, Exxon Mobil, Marathon Petroleum, PEMEX, UPS, BORL India, HMEL India, Babcock and Wilcox, Excelerate Energy, Sandvik Tube, and the US Navy to name a few. Over the past 12 years in Business Development, I’ve had the privilege of representing my employer as an SME at trade shows and conferences around the world, presenting on our unique technology to engineers in the chemical, petroleum, power, and manufacturing industries.
Outside of my day job I’ve built and helped to manage 14 websites, along with helping to manage multiple social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram. I’m big on branding and establishing a consistent presence for businesses and organizations I work with, and I’ll often help them establish their initial presence on social media or a website and then teach the company or organization how to manage the presence themselves. This helps them maintain self-sufficiency and eliminates their reliance on a third party.
As an experienced photographer, I’ve shot everything from commercial food photography, child portraiture, senior photos, weddings, sports, events, and even journalism. While the vast majority of my portfolio is commercial product photography and has been published on websites and in product literature accordingly, I’ve had the opportunity to see my work published in Chemical Engineering Magazine, Euroasia Industry Magazine, Heat Exchanger World Magazine, BIC Alliance Magazine, and the Sullivan Independent News (my local paper). One of the most exciting things I’ve had the opportunity to work on is designing wine labels for Belmont Vineyards in Leasburg, MO. Belmont is the only winery located directly on Route 66 and in 2016 I was given the opportunity to design two labels for the Mother Road’s 90th anniversary.
In my personal life, I’m a devoted husband and a proud father of 3 beautiful children. I've volunteered with several local organizations including Higher Ground Adventures, a Christian Ministry that focuses on outdoor activities, which is also the organizing body of the Cuban Gravel Crisis bicycle race typically held in Cuba, MO each October. From 2017 to 2019 I have served as race director and helped to market the event, which attracted around 250 riders and their families from all around the world. I’m also a big proponent of public education and proudly serve as President of both the Bourbon PTO and of the Crawford County R-1 Board of Education.
